Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using printsforart.com or placing an order with us. By accessing our website or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

Prints For Art is an online platform for the sale of original artwork, limited-edition prints, paintings, drawings, and sculptures.

2. Eligibility
By using this website, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of India
- You are not barred from purchasing or receiving our products under any applicable law
- The information you provide to us is accurate and complete
3. Products
3.1 Original Artwork
Original paintings, drawings, and sculptures listed on our website are one-of-a-kind works. Once sold, they are gone. All product descriptions, dimensions, and photographs are provided in good faith and as accurately as possible. Slight variations in colour between the artwork as photographed and as it appears in person are normal and do not constitute a defect.
3.2 Limited-Edition Prints
Limited-edition prints are produced in a fixed, numbered quantity. Each print in an edition is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Once an edition is sold out, it will not be reprinted.
3.3 Availability
All products are subject to availability. In the rare event that an item is sold but no longer available, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund.
3.4 Pricing
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price at the time of your order is the price you pay.
4. Orders
4.1 Placing an Order
When you place an order on printsforart.com, you are making an offer to purchase the item at the listed price. Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability.
4.2 Order Cancellation by You
You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not already been dispatched. To cancel, email support@printsforart.com immediately with your order number. After 24 hours or once dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted.
4.3 Order Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel any order if the item is unavailable, if a pricing error has occurred, or if we are unable to verify payment. In such cases, a full refund will be issued promptly.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment Methods
We accept payments through Razorpay, which supports credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your payment details.
5.2 Payment Confirmation
Your order will only be processed once payment has been successfully confirmed. If your payment fails or is declined, your order will not be placed.
5.3 Platform Commission
Prints For Art charges a small platform commission on each sale. This covers the cost of operating the store. The remaining amount is passed directly to the artist.
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Shipping Within India
We ship across India. Shipping timelines and charges will be displayed at checkout. Original artworks and sculptures may have longer handling times due to specialist packaging requirements.
6.2 Packaging
All artwork is carefully packed to protect it during transit. Original works are wrapped and secured in rigid or padded packaging appropriate to the medium. Sculptures are crated and insured where necessary.
6.3 Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are provided at checkout and are indicative only. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping partners, customs, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
6.4 Risk and Title
Risk of damage or loss passes to you upon delivery. Ownership of the artwork passes to you once full payment has been received and confirmed.
6.5 International Shipping
We do not currently ship internationally. If you are based outside India and wish to enquire about a purchase, please contact us at support@printsforart.com.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. Please read it carefully at printsforart.com/return-and-refund-policy before placing an order.
In summary:
- Original paintings, drawings, and sculptures are non-returnable and non-refundable except in cases of transit damage or wrong item delivered
- Limited-edition prints may be returned within 7 days of delivery in original, unaltered condition
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if not yet dispatched
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Artwork
The purchase of an artwork or print does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the buyer. All copyright in the artwork remains with the artist, Vikash Kalra, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
8.2 Permitted Use
You may display the artwork you purchase for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit any artwork purchased from us without the prior written permission of the artist.
8.3 Website Content
All content on printsforart.com, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Prints For Art or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any website content without our prior written consent.
9. Certificates of Authenticity
All original works and limited-edition prints are supplied with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate confirms the work's title, medium, dimensions, year, edition number where applicable, and the artist's details. Please keep this certificate safe as it supports the provenance and resale value of your artwork.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that:
- The website will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Product descriptions, images, or pricing are free from errors
- The website is free from viruses or harmful components
We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by Indian law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prints For Art will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or purchase of our products
- Loss of profit, data, or goodwill
- Any loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Our total liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
