At Prints For Art, we understand that receiving artwork is not like receiving any other package. Every piece we ship has been made with care and deserves to arrive the same way. This policy explains how we handle packaging, shipping, timelines, and everything in between.
1. Where We Ship
We currently ship across India only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
If you are based outside India and are interested in purchasing a piece, please contact us directly at support@printsforart.com or +91 8766234062 and we will do our best to assist you.
2. Order Processing Time
Once your payment is confirmed, we begin preparing your order. Processing times vary by product type:

Processing time is the time it takes us to inspect, pack, and hand the piece over to our shipping partner. It does not include transit time.
Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
3. Shipping Timelines
Once dispatched, estimated delivery timelines across India are as follows:

These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location, the shipping partner, weather conditions, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. For large sculptures or oversized works, additional handling charges may apply and will be communicated to you before dispatch.
Occasionally we may offer free shipping on selected products or during promotional periods. This will be clearly indicated on the product page or at checkout.
5. How We Pack Your Order
Packaging is something we take seriously. The wrong packaging is one of the most common reasons art arrives damaged, and we will not let that happen.
Limited-edition prints are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and shipped flat in rigid board mailers or rolled in protective tubes depending on size. They are sealed to prevent moisture damage.
Original drawings and paintings on paper are wrapped in acid-free tissue, placed between rigid boards, and shipped in reinforced flat mailers or wooden crates for larger works.
Original paintings on canvas are wrapped in glassine paper and bubble wrap, placed in custom-cut foam-lined boxes or wooden crates for large canvases.
Sculptures are wrapped individually, packed in custom foam inlays, and crated in wooden boxes. All sculptures are insured during transit.

6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email or WhatsApp containing your tracking number and the name of our shipping partner. You can use this to track your delivery in real time.

7. Signature on Delivery
All orders require a signature on delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package at the delivery address. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our shipping partner will typically make two additional attempts before returning the package to us.
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address provided by the buyer, re-shipping costs will be borne by the buyer.
8. Damaged or Lost in Transit
We pack every order carefully, but if something goes wrong during transit we will make it right.
If your order arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@printsforart.com
- Provide clear photographs of the damaged artwork and all packaging
- Do not discard any packaging until the matter is resolved
We will review your claim within 3 business days and offer either a replacement where possible or a full refund.
If your order is lost in transit: Contact us at support@printsforart.com with your order number and tracking details. We will investigate with the shipping partner and keep you updated. If the order is confirmed lost, we will issue a full refund or arrange a replacement where possible.
9. Incorrect Delivery Address
Please double-check your delivery address before placing your order. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If you realise you have entered a wrong address, contact us immediately at support@printsforart.com or +91 8766234062. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will update the address at no charge. Once dispatched, we cannot guarantee an address change.
10. Large and Oversized Works
Sculptures and large paintings may require specialist logistics, additional crating, and insurance. For these pieces:
- We will contact you after your order is placed to confirm packaging, shipping timeline, and any additional charges before dispatch
- Delivery may be arranged through a specialist art logistics partner
- Installation assistance is not included but we are happy to recommend local handlers in major cities if needed
11. Public Holidays and Peak Periods
Processing and delivery times may be longer during public holidays, festive seasons such as Diwali, Holi, and Christmas, or during periods of extreme weather. We will do our best to communicate any delays in advance.
