Return and Refund Policy

Prints For Art Effective Date: June 2026

At Prints For Art, we take great care in how we present, pack, and deliver every piece. Because we deal in original artwork and limited-edition prints, our return policy is necessarily different from a standard retail store. Please read this carefully before placing an order.


1. Our General Approach

All sales of original paintings, original drawings, and sculptures are final. This is standard practice across the art world and reflects the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of original artwork. However, we are committed to making sure every buyer feels confident and protected, and we will always work with you if something goes wrong on our end.


2. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, we will replace or refund it. To make a claim:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@printsforart.com
  • Send clear photographs of the damaged artwork and the packaging it arrived in
  • Keep all original packaging until the matter is resolved

We will review your claim and respond within 3 business days. If the damage is confirmed, we will offer either a full refund or, where possible, a replacement.


3. Wrong Item Delivered

If you receive an artwork that is different from what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@printsforart.com or +91 8766234062. We will arrange collection of the incorrect piece and deliver the right one at no additional cost to you, or issue a full refund if the correct piece is no longer available.


4. Limited-Edition Prints

Limited-edition prints may be returned within 7 days of delivery provided:

  • The print is in its original, undamaged condition
  • It has not been framed, mounted, or altered in any way
  • It is returned in its original packaging

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or was incorrectly sent. Once we receive and inspect the returned print, we will process your refund within 5 to 7 business days.


5. Original Paintings, Drawings, and Sculptures

Original works are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the cases of transit damage or wrong item delivery as described above. We strongly encourage buyers to:

  • Review all photographs and dimensions carefully before purchasing
  • Contact us with any questions before placing an order at support@printsforart.com or +91 8766234062
  • Request additional images or a video of the piece if needed

We are happy to provide as much information as possible to help you make a confident decision.


6. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund, provided the item has not already been dispatched. After 24 hours or once dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted.

To cancel an order, email us immediately at support@printsforart.com with your order number.


7. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional days to reflect in your account.


8. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Original paintings, drawings, and sculptures (except damage or wrong item)
  • Items that have been framed, mounted, or altered after delivery
  • Items returned without prior written approval from us
  • Items returned after the stated return window has passed

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
